Route:
Course of 21.0975 km on paved roads with start and finish at the National Sport Center of Tenero.

Please note that we can only accept fully completed written registrations (First name, last name, complete address, date of birth, club, category, ...). The registration will be activated only with the payment.
Attention: please fill-in the previewed time of contest for the assignement, done from organizer, in groups A/B/C/D of Half Marathon. If the time will not be filled in, you will automatically be enrolled in group D.

Awards:
Category  1-15 awards for the first 5.
Category 16-19 random awards.

Special awards for the Marathon:
the competitor who will establish a new record of the Ticino Marathon (presently Men: 2.2.20.31; Women 2.49.49) will receive an award of CHF 2'000.--. In addition the following special awards for the best 10 times in the male categories of the marathon: 1.: CHF 600.--; 2.: CHF 400.--; 3.: CHF 200.--; 4.-10.: CHF 100.-- In the female categories of the Marathon the following special awards to the best three running times: 1.: CHF 600.--; 2.: CHF 400.--; 3.: CHF 200.--; 4.-5.: CHF 100.--

Special awards for the Half-marathon:
for the best 5 times in the categorie Men of the Half-marathon: 1. CHF 300.--; 2. CHF 200.--; 3. CHF 100.-- In the categorie Women of the Half-marathon the following special awards to the best three running times: 1. CHF 300.--; 2. CHF 200.--; 3. CHF 100.--

The presence to the awards is part of the manifestation. In absence the prizes will not be delivered. Souvenir for every participant: T-SHIRT "MARATONA TICINO 2012".

Important:
the competition is an official contest of the Switzerland Federation of Track & Field under national & international rules. For safety reasons, it is severely forbidden to follow the competitors with any vehicle, bicycle or roller. The number of each competitor must be well-visible on the chest, not folded up. The competitor that fails to observe the rules could be disqualified by the race judges present on the run. The organization declines responsibility in case of accident or theft. Each competitor must be insured individually. The present program is definitive. The list of departure will be delivered with the race number. For ethical reasons the Società Atletica Vis Nova doesn't give any signing on. In case of cancellation of the contest, for impediments like floodings, etc., the inscription fee will be valid for next year, but not reimbursed. Valid is the Italian text.

Refreshments:
Rivella, Rivella Marathon, water, lemons, oranges, at kms 5/ 10 / 14.5 / 20 / 26 / 31 / 35.5 / 41. There is the possibility to deposit personal refreshments in the starting area untill 8.45 am, labelled with the runners number and the refreshment post (km).The refreshments could be controlled by antidoping.
